27,100 THB?? Wow! That is sooo affordable! But you’re right though, I find that travelling in the group does reduce the expenses somewhat cause you can stretch the dollar frther if you’re sharing. Especially with accommodation. Great itinerary by the way. I would LOVE to go to Koh Lipe. I have heard so much about it! What was your favourite part of your whole holiday?
Koh Lipe, of course.
Again I love your article! Koh Lipe beach looks amazing and somewhere I am yet to discover in Thailand so have added it onto my list. Glad you had a fun time in BKK! Koh Sok National Park looks unreal!
It is, indeed.
Overnight lake tour in Khao Sok National Park sounds just like the kind of thing I’d love to do and then trekking and caving the next day, perfect! Also, Koh Lipe, I’ve heard, has some really amazing beaches, I’m sure the sunset there must be amazing! Walking street and sunrise beach both sound like the places I’d want to explore in Koh Lipe.
You would love these places, Medha.
Thailand is one of my favorite country in Asia, because it does look like the Philippines with many beautiful places to visit. Glad you enjoyed it too and had a wonderful moments. Which of these places are your favorite?
That’s true. I am yet to visit Philippines.
Just what I need! I am planning another trip for our 6th wedding anniversay in March and we’re planning to visit Bangkok. Koh Lipe looks really nice and an island tour nearby is really inviting. We’re seriously considering this. Thank you for your very detailed post. Very helpful.

Vegan food tour? Now I’m all ears! More often than not, I never bother about food tours coz mostly they aren’t veggie friendly! Good to know this!!!
This is a super awesome itinerary. I may never go on a 9 day trip! Its a bit too long for me. But I can definitely tweak your itinerary to suit mine!
Thanks for appreciating, Bhusavali. This keeps me going.
Awesome itinerary! I’d love the overnight lake tour of Khao Sok. That sounds so exotic and exciting. Love the white sand beaches of Koh Lipe, which by the way is high on my bucket list and also love the fact that Thailand has such a great vegan presence you were able to enjoy good food!
Oh you will love it, Amy.
I have family who love Thailand and return year after year but I’m yet to visit. You’re itinerary certainly made the most of your time there, I particularly liked the idea of the food tour and stay in a floating house! The scenery is beautiful and the beaches amazing! I also liked how you linked to individual blog posts to give readers more info.
Oh Laura, you need to come down.
Thailand always remains to be one of my favourite place , but I am yet to visit Khao Sak national park and Koh Lipe. I was in Thailand in May but missed out on the places . Great Post. Since, I am from Kolkata so flying has never been uneasy on pocket.
Yes, flying to Bangkok from Kolkata is super easy.
I took the Overnight lake tour in Khao Sok National Park and it was amazing! It was awfully crowded as it’s one of the more touristy places in Thailand but it was still a nice experience. Your picture of Koh Lipe looks amazing too! I wish it was as empty when I last visited :))
Oh, that’s nice to know that you have experienced the Khao Sok as well, but sad to know that it was crowded.
The overnight lake tour in Khao Sok National Park sounds really interesting to me. Specially staying at a floating lake house is like cherry on top.The sun rise beach at Koh Lipe seems very relaxing and beautiful too. The rooftop new party also seems lots of fun. Thanks for this detailed itinerary post.
Glad you liked it.
9 days in 27k Baht is amazing. I really would Love to check out the overnight lake tour at Khao San National Park, and also some trekking and caving. Definitely going to be using this itinerary for reference when I drop by Thailand next.
You would love it, Arnav.
I am not a vegan but I would love to go on a Vegan tour. Sounds very interesting. And, 27,100 THB for the full 9-days trip of Khao Sok National Park-Koh sounds like a steal.
Yes, why not!
I have been to Thailand twice , but never been to Khao Sok National Park. You have provided such a detailed itinerary. Specifically Vegan food tour. I am big fan of Lebanese food and Beirut looks perfect to have my feast there. The landscapes of Khao Sok National Park are simply breathtaking. I would love do a boat ride there for sure.
Oh yes, Parnashree. Falafel wrap, pita bread and hummus, and more!
