I’ve always heard such fantastic things about Myanmar, and how much more authentic it is than ote
I loved the place.
I love that you provide such helpful breakdowns of your itinerary. It means that people have a great starting point on which to build. Myanmar looks fascinating!
Yes, it is.
These are probably one of the best tips and helpful breakdowns of an itinerary, that there might be, and still, this are all fully customizable, I enjoy reading up on these, and if you cover a destination that interests me I jump right on it and see, what you did and how, and try to formulate a route to have in mind. 😀
I hope this was helpful.
A great itinerary – we did this in reverse back in 2013. Loved the temples in Bagan and the riverboat from Bagan to Mandalay. The Burmese people are so lovely and friendly. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to know you had been there.
This is such a precise, to the point article. I love the pictures and how you have kept this simple and hyperlinked to the day wise blogs. Kudos !
P.S. I have bookmarked this 🙂
Hope this helps you, Stuti.
This looks like an awesome itinerary for Myanmar! Inle Lake would be near the top of my list. As always, I appreciate that you include the cost of your trip. That is so helpful for in the trip planning process.
Inle Lake – you cannot afford to miss.
I love it that you gave me an idea about what expenses are involved in this itinerary. My husband and I want to visit, but would like to stay there at least 10 days. It doesn’t seem to be too cheap, but it surely is worth the money. I’d love to photograph those pagodas in Yangon.
I wish you two a great time in Myanmar.
Thank you so much for sharing a blow-by-blow itinerary , this helps so much with an overview of what to see and do. I get the feeling of not having to do so much research because you already done it for me. I hope to be able to see Myanmar someday.
Yes, you will see the details in each link if you want.
This is a great itinerary for anyone planning to visit Myanmar for about a week. I have heard amazing things about this part of the world and have it on my bucketlist. A boat journey from Mandalay to Bagan sounds ab absolutely delightful and something I would absolutely love to do.
Glad if this helps.
This seems like a doable week long itinerary.I am glad you have broken the whole schedule into chunks. Did not know about Mandalay and the Inle lake, so glad to read about it here. Guess, this post should come handy to plan my visit to Myanmar
Hope this helps you in planning.
I’ve recently just been thinking about visiting Myanmar so perfect timing to be discovering your itinerary! I’ve always seen photos of Bagan’s beautiful temples on Instagram too actually, but never knew there were THIS many. Definitely bookmarking this. Thank you!
Glad that you found this helpful.
I always wanted to visit Myanmar but get confused about how many days I have to plan and what I have do there. Your list of things with itinerary and financial breakup of the tour is very useful for me to plan my visit to Myanmar. Day 4 looks amazing as it has so many temples in one day. Day 3 also looks beautiful to have beautiful boat journey from Mandalay to Bagan.
You must visit Myanmar and enjoy natural beauty and pagodas.
Myanmar is on my dream list for a long time. So I enjoy your week’s itinerary. I would love to visit Mandalay Hill and Its Temples and take a boat from Mandalay to Bagan. Inle Lake is a must for me. I appreciate that you also share the expense. It’s so helpful in trip planning!
Hope this actually helps.
