This makes me wish I had more time to spend in Thailand! So many unique cultural experiences! 🙂
Totally Shane.
I would gladly visit all these historic parks, they look like very nice places to hang around. If I am in this area, I will definitely go there.
Yes, you would love it, I bet.
Wow this place looks so pretty! I’m a big fan of historic parks and I would definitely want to visit this place! I’m so glad I came across this article
I am glad if it is helpful to you, Elena.
This sounds like an awesome itinerary! Thailand is on my bucket list, I hope I’m able to visit someday!
Sure, very soon.
Yea. Old is gold. I would visit those in Thailand if I had a chance. But somehow, parties and beaches is something, that is on my mind.
Thailand has all of it.
How did I miss these wonderful sites when I was last there?! Sukhothai Historical Park looks, and sounds, like a must-see place, and I like visiting ruins in Thailand too. When I make the trip back to Thailand, I’ll be sure to see all of these places on the list!
Oh yes, you must, Lisa.
Whenever I travel, I really love visiting UNESCO Heritage Sites! Kamphaeng Phet sounds like a great destination for me. I really hope I can visit it soon. Sukhothai Historical Park ruins also look very interesting. I really want to learn more about their heritage and culture.
That’s really interesting.
Literally kicking myself for not visiting these places!!!! I lived in Southern Thailand for a year and discovered a lot about the islands, but goodness now I reallllllly want to go back and spend time in the north. We visited Chiang Mai and did a bunch of the cliche touristy things. I would love to go visit these places. We visited Siem Reap, but these look like more untouched!
Where did you stay in South Thailand?
Wow. I have visited Thailand thrice and still missed all these attractions. Will have to plan a trip especially to cover them. The Sukhothai Historical Park looks like a must visit as I love visiting ruins and historical places.
Never mind, Pooja, come over here, for the fourth time now.
Where ever I travel, I try to visit at least a few UNESCO World Heritage sites. I feel as if the country’s history is more tangible this way instead of looking at exhibits in museums. I love being able to witness and see first hand how historic buildings/estates/etc. impacted a country’s history and culture. I particularly love the Sukhothai Historical Park, so unique and charming. I would definitely make time for Kamphaeng Phe as well.
You would love it there!
It would be a great adventure to take a 3-day adventure and cover as many Unesco World Heritage Sites in Northern Thailand. Great that they are all close enough to each other to do so! I especially love the look of the Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park, but they are each beautiful in their own right. Very helpful to estimate the cost of the trip, too!
You would love it there!
I’m fascinated with UNESCO World Heritage Sites lately. I appreciate the fact that you gave a clear li#t of how to visit three in a row. More importantly, I am thankful that you included costs too, since as a budget traveler, that’s important.
I am more than glad that you found this helpful.
I have never been to Northern Thailand sadly. It looks like I am missing out. I will definitely be checking into visiting Sukothai Historical Park , it sounds like something I would like to do. I am happy that you provided an itinerary as well as the budget too!
You would love it there!
Well this is quite a straight forward, uncluttered itinerary. I really liked it.
Northern Thailand is beautiful. I have been to Chiang Mai and Sukothai Historical Park. Thanks for talking about others. Everything looks right in budget.
Glad that you liked it.
