It was only yesterday that I was looking at someone’s pictures of Carcassonne and it’s beautiful and today I am reading your post! I’d love to do a road trip across Spain and I think it’s a great idea to add south of France to it, considering that I have been to Paris and really don’t want to go back there but I do want to explore more of France. This is a brilliant itinerary for 12 days, bookmarking it for reference, for when I plan my trip next year. I’ll pretty much have the same amount of time as well!

Thank you for such a great post! I’ve only been to Spain once and only visited Seville. I loved it! It is such a beautiful city, and I’ve wanted to go back and experience more of Spain since that trip. I hadn’t heard of Carcassonne before, but it looks beautiful. I will defiantly be adding it to my list of cities to visit in Spain. I also really want to go to Granada and San Sebastian. Plus Barcelona, of course.

You did all of this in 12 days! Ouch! 😀 That is quite a distance and to fit it in two islands as well. I am forever road tripping around Europe and you do see more when you got a car but I dont think I could cram all this in under 2 weeks. I know you come from the other side of the world so time is limited and I probably be the same if I went to India or China, try and cram everything in. 😀 But for those looking at this with not much time, then yes, your plan worked. 🙂
